It would appear that finally the media has given up on finding out what happened to the five cables that were severed in the Mediterranean over that shorty period earlier in the month. It would seem that no one cares or is interested in finding out who did it or why and they are perfectly happy to leave it down to mystery. It is a shame really because i was hoping that at least someone out there would have the guile and tenacity to discover what really happened and why. It is of difficulty whatsoever for a number of countries with submarine espionage capability to sever these cables, the interesting side of this event is only the reasons WHY? Anyone who has any ideas about why it would certainly be interesting to hear because it doesn’t look like anyone in the media is willing to provide suggestions. |
