Undersea Fibre cables no accident.

Why is there no media investigations into the three undersea cables providing much of the Internet service to middle eastern countries and businesses. Although Egypt who pretty much represents the wests point of view in the middle east said it was a ship dropping an anchor on them, there were actually no ships in area at the time.

It seems pretty obvious that the most likely cause of these cables being severed in quick succession and with not ships in the area that a submarine must of severed the cables.  In-fact the kind of mission that would be conducted in order to do this reminds me very much of the NR1 American nuclear deep dive submarine which has a history of tapping into these types of cables for espionage purposes.

The other interesting point is that Iran is looking to launch its own Oil Exchange this month which will be trading in Euros not Dollar’s. Disruption’s and problems with the fibre systems in the middle east would make for a difficult launching platform for that Exchange which many believe is the reason for Americas Iraq invasion as well as its sabre rattling against Iran at the moment.

Please, someone tell me that have some research on these events and stories.

  2. I think you are referring to Operation Ivy Bells. NR1 was not the ship that did this, this is well documented by the international media.

It’s important to make sure your data is correct; otherwise you undermine your position and actually help the folks who you seek to uncover.

  3. First, many thanks for your comment.

I just wanted to clarify with regards to the comments you have made.

I was not stating that i think NR1 has severed these three cables in the middle east i was only stating that it is the kind of operation that a vessel such as NR1 could quite easily do.

Some operations that NR1 conducted in the past have indeed been well documented and as far as i know NR1 was replaced by a newer vessel as per RANDs recommendation a long while ago now.

The point i was trying to make was how people could serioulsy be trying to say that all these cables being severed in quick succession could be an accident and there is no investigative journalism chasing down the real reasons.

thanks once again for your comments and i hope i managed to clear up what i was trying to say.
